May is on the way out as of today! Here in North Dakota, we haven't experienced more than one day of hot weather
the whole month, but nice enough to do the work we need to be doing without complaint! Many quilters found the time to do a little extra, thankfully from the cool weather.
We hope you did, too! If not, stop on in for a little extra help, or a "push" to keep you going.
Sometimes just walking around the shop inspires one to get going!
I know it is kind of hard to swallow, but we are getting Christmas fabrics in! Can you believe it? Remember the old saying "Christmas in July"? That is because if you don't start your Christmas projects in July, your stress level will increase 10 fold when it gets closer to the Holidays if these gift projects are not done. So stop on in, and see the fun ideas and cute fabrics that are available. We already know that some of the lines we have are out of stock, and they just came in!!
Coming up in the month of June:
For those of you who attend our Block of the month club, remember this month are our drawings! (June 20th) You won't want to miss out, so be sure to clear that day! We always have fun and get inspired to try a new technique, or a new pattern.
Be inspired to finish that project you are working on to bring in for "Show and Tell".
We have to admit, there is a lot of talent out there, and we are proud of you!
Any suggestions for an upcoming class you would like to attend, or a project that would be fun to do in a small group?
Let Mary or Trish know your ideas, and we will make it happen!!
Have a fun and safe June.
Remember to take care of your bodies by eating healthy, and get some exercise, so when you sit down to quilt you don't get all stiff and sore when it is time to stand up!
(Same goes for the weeding in the garden!)
