Dog days of Summer, August is here!
Hello from the Comforts of Home!
Just a quick report that the Mystery Bus Run was a huge success!
Lots of mysterys were "unfolded" as the day wore on,
and each shop was better than the last!
Our very own Trish, and wonderful helpers, treated us to a neck massage, and a lovely scented hand sugar scrub, and a bottle of homemade "Best Press" along with the recipes to make more, and a Tastefully Simple demonstration and tasting! Then we got a tutorial from Missouri Quilts!
New friends were made, and new fabrics and patterns were purchased.
(Now, to find the time to sew them!)
For those of you that were on the COH bus, I have one thing to say...
"Kit" "Kit" "Kit" "Kit" "Kit" "Kit" (so there!)
Wish I could tell you everything, but what happened on the bus, stayed on the bus! hehe
Are you new to long arm quilting?
Do you want to learn from a professional?
Do you want to gain confidence and make new friends?
Do you have a long arm quilting machine and want to upgrade or see what is new out there?
Well, just to let you know, Bobbie Barnhardt a Representative from Handi Quilter will be here (on a yet to be set date in Sept.) to give some long arm quilting classes!
If you want to finish more quilts, or if you've ever dreamed taking your quilting to the next level, this class is for you!
You do NOT need to own a long arm quilting machine, or a specific brand of machine to take Bobbie's class. All the techniques you learn can be done on any long arm or sit down machine.
the shop size is limited, so sign up early to get a spot.
If you are interested, please sign up so we can set a date. No class fee will be collected until a date and time are set.
We have a form at the shop for you to fill out so we can determine your level of interest...
Don't let a day go by without sewing a few minutes!
Your stress level will decrease for every minute you do!
Don't be a stranger, and have a fun August!
